Alicia Levy is an exceptionally determined player whose versatility and athleticism make her a very valuable player. Alicia is currently playing for Erin Mills Golden Eagles U18 at the OYSL level. Alicia was her team's leading scorer while playing several different positions including central back, central midfielder and striker. She accepts roles without question as she understands the importance of being a team player, showing her strong character as both a player and as a person. She plays with an intensity and competitiveness that is seldom found in the girls game and it is this display of strength and ability that makes her a leader. Some of Alicia's accomplishments include playing on the Ontario GU16 Provincial Team 2011/2012, and being the Ontario Indoor Cup Champions with Etobicoke Energy OYSL in 2011/2012. Also, her team was a Finalist in the Novi Jaguar Invitational in Baltimore 2011 and a Finalist in the MPS Boston Showcase 2012. On a individual level, in the summer of 2012, Alicia received an invitation to attend the National Training Camp, though she was unable to attend due to injury. She was also MVP of North Mississauga Soccer Club in 2008 and MVP of Erin Mills Mighty Eagles in 2010,. At school Alicia played on the St. Marcellinus Junior and Senior Soccer Team from 2010-2012, winning the Regional Championship on the Junior Team and competing in the Ontario Championship on the Senior Team. She is also a strong student who has received Academic Honors maintaining an 85% or higher academic average in Grade 9, 10 and 11 and will be Graduating Class of 2014. Alicia is a confident and skilled player who has expressed a desire to play at the highest level possible. She has a mind for the game and accompanied with her technical skills, agility and assertiveness she is an asset to any team she may play on.
