Nathanael Boatswain is an OYSL level right/centre back playing for Ajax FC 1997. He is a 6'' tall, talented player whose focus and dedication to excellence is apparent in his play. He is a hardworking athlete whose passion for the game is put forth both in practise and during games. He is a strong and physical player but also looks for the smart plays, finding the open passes and making quick decisions on the ball. He has a strong accurate kick and great ball handling skills that he is always looking to develop. He is a goal driven individual yet he is a team player who understands the importance of having the support of friends and teammates. Nathanael is always striving for improvement and is a very coachable player. Nathanael has played at the OYSL level for three years. Some of his teams achievements include becoming the Ottawa Force Football Club Invitational Champions, the Cumberland Cobras Snakebite Tournament Champions and the Frank Sobil Spring Classic Champions for which personally he was the MVP of both the Semi Final and Final match. Nathanael has also played on his school Varsity team, the Holy Trinity School Hawks, for his first two high school years; the most recent year he has played for the St. Michaels Sr. Blue Azzuri, which has qualified for OFSSA. In 2012 he traveled with the Varsity team of Holy Trinity School, to England for the Soccer Tour in October 2012 to train with the Leicester City Academy Coach and the Liverpool Football Club Academy during the tour. Nathanael attends St Michael's College School. St Michael's is an all boys Private school with a great reputation and history of preparing young men for success at the post-secondary level as well as being leaders in their community. Nathanael loves soccer and is a strong, determined, capable student athlete. He hopes to one day obtain an undergraduate degree in International business from a well-regarded university while playing top level soccer.
