Matthew is a versatile player who mainly plays attacking midfielder, striker, or on the wing. His strength is attacking the goal by feeding other strikers or scoring goals himself. He demonstrates good ball control, and is creative at distributing passes as a winger who is used as a specialist side midfielder especially for attack, fast speed and agility. Matthew played for the Dixie Athletics from 2008-2011 earning Captain status for his leadership on and off the pitch. In 2012-2013 he played with Toronto FC U 16 academy as captain to help with the technical and physical aspect of getting prepared to play NCAA soccer.
